Making a Purchase:
We want to make your shopping experience as simple as possible. Browse our online catalog, click on any items you wish to buy and add them to your shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on “Checkout Now” and you will be asked for a few details to complete your order. We only accept credit card payments for internet orders. If you are making payment with a debit card, please understand that Titan Ballistics will take no responsibility for any overdraft charges associated with this purchase including any charges associated with processing errors. Our website does not accept layaways, all orders placed from www.TitanBallistics.net must be paid in full. The corporate office of Titan Ballistics is located in California; therefore any orders shipped to Titan Ballistics will be charged sales tax.
After an order is placed, you will receive an email confirmation with a link to follow the processing of your order through the Order Status page of our website. Typically, shipping orders are processed the business day after the order has been placed, but can take up to three business days during high volume periods. In regards to, in store pickups we will contact you and update your Order Status once the order is received and available for pickup. Once your order is available at Titan Ballistics for pickup, you may head into the store anytime during business hours, no appointment necessary. A photo ID with the name matching your web order is required to be shown in-store during pickup. Please be aware if your order contains a firearm or ammunition, a background check must be completed in-store prior to the purchase being released.
Any orders left unclaimed at Titan Ballistics after 30 days (without prior communication) will be cancelled and charged a full 20% restocking fee.
By purchasing from Titan Ballistics, you affirm that you:
-Are a U.S. citizen or Permanent Resident
-Have never been convicted of a felony or crime punishable by imprisonment for a term exceeding one year
-Have never been adjudicated as mentally defective or been committed to a mental institution
-Have never been a fugitive from justice, an unlawful user of any controlled substance
-Have never been dishonorably discharged from the Armed Forces
-Have never renounced your US citizenship
-Have never been convicted of a misdemeanor crime of domestic violence.
-Are not currently subject to a court order that restrains you from harassing, stalking, or threatening an intimate partner or child
Purchasing Ammunition:
Ammunition is unable to be shipped/delivered to any individual within the state of California. You may pick up an ammo order at Titan Ballistics, or we can ship the order to a dealer of your choice.
Ammunition purchases to be shipped outside of California can be shipped to an individual directly unless otherwise prohibited by your state. Please be aware of your local ammo laws prior to placing an order with Titan Ballistics.
To purchase ammunition in California, you must complete a background check with an Approved status. DOJ offers two background checks. One is instant and costs $1, the other does not have a set time and costs $19.
The instant check confirms only that your name and address match a registered firearm in California.
The longer check is a full background check and does not require you to have a registered firearm, or for your current address to match a registered firearm. This check can take anywhere from a half hour to a month to complete.
You must provide a copy of your CA ID or DL upon submission of the background check. If your ID states “Federal Limits Apply”, you will also be required to show either a birth certificate, naturalization document, or a current US passport.
If you already have a firearm registered in California, however your name or address has changed since purchase, you may update your information directly with DOJ through their CFARS system.
Once logged into your account, click the “Automated Firearms System (AFS) Personal Information Update” in the top left corner, and submit your new information.
Purchasing Firearms:
Firearms are unable to be shipped/delivered to any individual. You may pick up any firearm purchased from www.TitanBallistics.net at Titan Ballistics, or we can ship the firearm to a dealer of your choice. It is required for us to have a copy of your (or your local transfer dealer’s) signed Federal Firearms License or Collector of Curio & Relics License on file prior to shipping any firearms. All orders placed without a signed copy of the Federal Firearms License (or other necessary licensing) on file may be delayed. You may have your transfer dealer email their FFL with your name and order number to titanballistics@gmail.com.
What do I need to buy a gun in CA?
All Firearms:
California requires an approved 10-day background check to purchase any firearm. Pass or fail, this background check costs $37.19. The two items required to submit any background check is a CA Identification Card or Driver License, and a Firearm Safety Card (FSC).
If you are active duty military stationed in California, your Military ID and PCS orders suffice as alternate documentation.

If your ID/DL has an outdated address, you'll need a government issued document showing your name and updated address.

If your ID/DL says "Federal Limits Apply" in the top right corner, a copy of your Certified Birth Certificate, Naturalization Document, or a current US Passport is required.
If your name differs on any of the documentation from the name on your ID, we also require a copy of your legal name-change documentation.
If you do not already have a FSC, we can issue one in store for $25 after passing a state-issued test. The test usually takes about 15 minutes to complete, and you may click here to download the study guide.
Handgun Purchases Only:
A proof of residence with your name and current address is required. The following are state approved documents that may be used:
- Utility bill including a land line phone bill or cable bill, dated within 90 days of firearm purchase

Valid state-issued license, permit, or registration, showing a period of validity

Residential lease or mortgage deed
Any orders left unclaimed at Titan Ballistics after 30 days (without prior communication) will be cancelled and a 20% restocking fee will be deducted from the refund.
Firearms Transfers:
Transfers are considered to be firearms that are shipped into our Federal Firearms License (FFL) from another location. They can be shipped from either another licensed dealer or a private individual.
All transfers MUST Be CA Legal when they arrive. Titan Ballistics can not modify any firearms to make them compliant or legal.
Handguns must either be on the CA DOJ Roster of Approved Firearms or be exempt from the roster.
Fees & Policies:
Incoming transfers are $100.00 + $37.19 DROS (CA Background Check) + CA Sales Tax (If applicable). If more than 1 firearm is being transferred, each additional firearm is $20 + CA Sales Tax (If applicable). Any products left unclaimed after 30 days will be charged a $50/month storage fee. After 180 days the item(s) will be considered to be abandoned.
All transfers from licensed dealers must have a CA Firearm Shipment Approval number. Any firearm received without an approval number will be returned at the buyers expense. Transfers from private individuals are exempt from CA Firearm Shipment Approval and CA sales tax. All firearms received from a private individual MUST have a clear copy of the sellers ID included in the box.
Private Party Transfers:
A Private Party Transfer (PPT) is a transaction between two separate individuals both residing in CA with valid CA identification (Driver's License or ID Card). Both the buyer and seller MUST be present in the store at the same time for this type of transaction.
Fees and conditions:
The state fee for a PPT is $47.19. If more than 1 firearms is being transferred, each additional is $10. Any products left unclaimed after 30 days will be charged a $50/month storage fee. After 180 days the item(s) will be considered to be abandoned.
If the buyer in the PPT is denied, the firearm will be returned to the seller (pending a DOJ background check). Buyers and sellers in this situation must come to a mutual agreement regarding refunds or other arrangements as Titan Ballistics will not be involved in your private transactions.
Ammunition Transfers:
Transfers are considered to be ammunition that is shipped into our Ammunition Vendor License from another location. It can be shipped from either another licensed dealer or a private individual.
Fees and conditions:
Ammunition transfers are $10 up to $1000 and $50 for up to 5000 rounds + DROS (CA Background Check). Any amount of ammunition over 5000 rounds is an additional $50 per 5000.
The DOJ offers two background checks for ammunition. One is instant and costs $1. The instant check confirms your current information matches a registered firearm in California. If you have not registered a firearm with the state since 2015, you may not be eligible for this type of background check.
The second option is a complete background check and doesn't require you to have a registered firearm or for your current address to match a registered firearm. This can take up to 30 days for the DOJ to complete and costs $19.
Any products left unclaimed after 15 days will be charged a $50/month storage fee. After 180 days the item(s) will be considered to be abandoned.
Private Party Transfers:
A Private Party Transfer (PPT) is a transaction between two separate individuals both residing in CA with valid CA identification (Driver's License or ID Card). Both the buyer and seller MUST be present in the store at the same time for this type of transaction.
Fees and conditions:
Private party ammo transfers are a flat fee of $5 + DROS.
The DOJ offers two background checks for ammunition. One is instant and costs $1. The instant check confirms your current information matches a registered firearm in California. If you have not registered a firearm with the state since 2015, you may not be eligible for this type of background check.
The second option is a complete background check and doesn't require you to have a registered firearm or for your current address to match a registered firearm. This can take up to 30 days for the DOJ to complete and costs $19.
Any products left unclaimed after 30 days will be charged a $50/month storage fee. After 180 days the item(s) will be considered to be abandoned.
Shipping:
Typically, orders ship the business day after the order has been placed. Any items that cannot be shipped within three business days are considered back-ordered and the purchaser will be notified. All orders receive email confirmation of shipment and are updated on the Order Status page. We ship Monday through Friday; orders received on weekends or holidays will be processed the next business day. Please be patient during high volume periods, as shipping times can vary. Shipping price listed online is based on the weight of the item and the destination zip code. Titan Ballistics ships within the US only. We cannot ship to Post Office Boxes, a street address is required. Rush orders (Next Day Air, 2nd Day Air, and 3 Day) will be placed as top priority.
Privacy Policy:
Titan Ballistics will not disclose buyers’ information to third parties. Cookies are used on this shopping site to track the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item(s), to store delivery addresses if the address book is used, and to store your details upon selecting the ‘Remember Me’ option.
